Hurricane?

Not really....it actually turned into a tropical storm late last night. As soon as we heard the severity of the hurricane we went into town and prepared. My son filled all our empty coolers and 5 gallon size buckets with water, just in case. So, yesterday as the hurricane was approaching our island all we could do was stay tuned to the news and watch for changes and updates. Even though we live a little north of Hilo we were expecting a lot more than what we got. Did it rain? Barely... Did the winds pick up? No, not at all. We just had a normal day of very overcast weather with a few sprinkles here and there. And then they kept predicting the heavy rains and winds to come early this morning, I didn't hear a thing...just a normal night of peace. I just thank God for watching over us and deciding to change the path of this storm. Yeah!
