2nd Annual Camp Laupahoehoe: Easter Weekend

Are you guys ready??!!

Tori found an egg!

So far, this is the second Easter that we have gone camping. Last year we went with our church family, New Hope Hamakua. This year we went with our good friends, The Browns (we love them!) and my dad and little brother were able to join us this year because they were visiting from Oahu. We had a great time. Lot's of food, goodies, laughter, and fun! I just thank the Lord for His saving grace and all that He does for us and giving us a good weekend. What blessed people we are.

Signs of Spring

Spring has arrived. This photo is just a bit of evidence that Spring is here indeed. Seth came back to me with this picture that he took. How lovely! We have gardenia's blossoming impatience blooming and plumeria's adorning their tree. I love this time of the year!

"Rise up, my love, my fair one,
And come away.
For lo, the winter is past.
The rain is over and gone.
The flowers appear on the earth;
The time of singing has come,
And the voice of the turtledove
Is heard in our land."

We love him!

He is now about 7 weeks young. We're so happy baby Ash is a part of our family. He's so cute..so squeezable! No, seriously he is a joy to our home. He's a very good baby, really mellow. I don't know what we would do without him. Babies are special.

No Vegetarians Here

Luke's first kill

Skinning his first animal

Last Saturday it was Luke's turn to go bow hunting with dad. This is what they came home with after a long hike. Okay, now for the cooking. I've tasted this sort of sheep before and it was actually good...we'll see what I come up with in our oven...not quite sure when I'm going to brave it! I'll let you know how it turns out.
